We are pleased to invite you to participate in the second cohort of our Global Pharmacy educational course. The program is designed primarily for pharmacists, but we also welcome participation from interdisciplinary healthcare professionals whose roles closely align with pharmacy practice and medication management.
The course includes eight self-paced modules available on the Cure4Kids.org platform.

What You'll Learn:
Core principles of safe chemotherapy handling and hazardous drug management across the medication-use process
Best practices for safe prescribing, preparation, and administration of chemotherapy
Core principles and best practices for medication safety across care settings
Fundamental concepts in clinical pharmacy practice within pediatric oncology
Time commitment: ~10 hours total (including assessments and feedback)
The St. Jude Global Pharmacy Program aims to strengthen pediatric oncology pharmacy care worldwide by empowering pharmacists through education, research, and system improvement initiatives. The program supports better patient outcomes by advancing safe, effective, and equitable pharmacy practices across diverse healthcare settings. Key initiatives include developing a comprehensive global education curriculum, the assessment tool PrOFILE-Pharmacy to evaluate and strengthen pharmacy capacity, and contributing to major global efforts, including the Global Platform for Access to Childhood Cancer Medicines, to expand access to essential pediatric cancer treatments. Additionally, the program plays a key role in developing clinical guidelines, supporting pediatric drug formulation initiatives, and collaborating with international partners and regional programs to enhance medication safety, accessibility, and quality of care for children globally.
